Phew, I've been busy today, finished the Mazda(well nearly) fitted the new hood, sorted out the interior, fitted new sound.

Car now looks stunning, even if i do say so myself.

Too dark to take pics, so you'll just have to trust me

Picked up my inverter today, so we now have mains power, got to charge my truck battery and we will power all day.

nuns bit neglected at the mo, bit busy with drawings n stuff this week.

good to have a break though, Simon at morspeed has basically said for us to fit the new dry-deck kit, change the diff oil seals and then just take it over to him so he and paul ( exon race engines ) can get it sorted. so, fingers crossed for in a week or twos time.

Pete - that train may be a bit early, I didnt realise you cant get on-site till midday. If you want to come early anyway we can go up to john's workshops for a while, have some breakfast and get roofless spruced up for the show if thats OK?

I've got an ariel, so no probs there.

The inverter is 400 watts, I will try it with my 42 plasma and see if it can run it.

again, i DID make a decision to go to the thong run 'because its much more convenient and i could have worked on my engine...of course i have to go talk to my friend n there tempting me to bristol, mightly tempting

C'est possible... I don't want to make the journey on my own though, and when Sam asked if I'd be taking the Mini I remembered it has no indicators at the moment - doh! Hopefully just a dodgy connection somewhere, gonna fiddle with the fuses on Saturday and see what happens... Otherwise, if we come, it'll be in a Fiesta with a naff bumper. Nice n shiny though, had it valeted today, it smelt lovely inside
