Theres a bit of a problem.. Im going to Cyprus for a week and i leave on the 5th next month, But ive just seen that the Gaydon meet is to the 5th, 4th to 5th.

I seem to recall that crank taper damage can be repaired?

It may be my imaginagtion but a think I saw for sale, machined taper that could be fitted to damaged cranks?

Crank tail damage, I got quoted £250 for repair, but that inc a regrind too, so ended up going to minisport and getting a brand new spanker for £150!

it was going to be running upgrade as was poor at the time got the dogbox in there, within time was going to be SC drops and lsd or twin pin

that was on the rally at rockingham...i was a little preocupied with going flat out to work out noises...cant hear much else over the webber and the dogbox tho

the damage on your crank is exactly the same as we found on the 1380 when we took it out of roofless. In our case it was clutch welding itself to the crank I think.

John kept it though as he thought it could be salvaged in some way.
