I've got 5 passes for the street-life show at the NEC , access all areas, if anyone wants to make use of one you'll need a passport photo to put on it.

GRRRRRRRRRR pie is making me so ANGRY!!!

People have been unsure about MITP this year due to the weather / shambles last year.

MITP made an announcement which they sent to all Facebook group members, I posted it on here and he just couldn't resist having a sodding pop. He hates the show for some random reason (it would seem, because it isn't at Malvern). He is out of the country when it's on so why is he even posting in the thread?! All he's doing is trying to put people off!! Why the hell does he want to do that?!

I'm going and I want to have a good time and see lots of TMF people, why does he insist the show is rubbish and as such should not be attended by anybody? Why should he care as HE WON'T BE THERE?!!!!!?!?

Thats a good choice, a 70's gt with honeycomb grill in sandglow or a really 70's colour like Black tulip/acronite or Damask red?

to be fair, it wasnt all that good was it.

its who you go with that makes a good and fun show - me and my lad spent most of the day on the dodgems

Yup, thong run was a good example, If you went just for a mini show you would have been disapointed.

However as a social event it was excellent.

Shows are are as good or bad as you make them, spend the day moaning about how C**p it then you're bound to have a C**p time.

Spend the day half *Drunk or yellow human water* and enjoying yourself and Eureka!!, a good time is had by all!!

I'm getting excited about Gaydon, gotta work in the morn, so off to Tescos shopping in a mo

Meet up with mates, get drunk, eat half cooked food, urinate over a new camping mat, life is goooooood

Something Dark blue, am I correct in thinking they are A-Series?

I'd love a early 70's, pref before '72
But, if its a A-series, I'd like a 1275 with a 286 cam
Or if its not a-series, rip it out, and fit a Rover V8

yeah i couldnt agree more about the shows, ill be camping with us guys this year at mitp, last year was cool even with the people i was with (who are alright but i dont know them that well)
so company will make it good, like gaydon, im like 10 mins away from there...i could go there come back for a nice sleep or i could go have a few drinks sleep on horrible floor or maybe volvo (with heated seats)

also...ARRGH! the crazy person who lives close by, she shouts abuse at people for no reason and rant on about how her people (indian) will ruel britan shes now playing loud music.....think i might put some sepeltura on

Dark blue is something like Teal blue, ace shade!!

Most MGBs have B series lumps apart from the V8(rover V8 and the MGC 3ltr C series)

Mg Midgets have the a series lump from 948cc to 1275cc, all chrome bumpers are A series.

Rubber bumper have the 1500cc triumph lump(Bahhh craaaap)

Watching the strip was good fun and the alcamahol tent was especially well received But yes it's who you go with, I had a reet laff with people off TMF, it was loads of fun, we made the best of the soggy situation!

If I've made the journey to a show with friends (this is why I never go to shows on my own) then I'll make sure I have fun! Whether the show is good or not, you can still make it fun

Woo you'll be camping with us! Hopefully I'll have a gazebo by then to bring and get the banner back Oh actually Roo's going so that's ok, she has it atm (silly me forgot to pick it up at L2B!)
