because it wasnt just a spam thread. It was a thread to chat about the jokes us group of guys were making over the weekend. May have looked like spam to those who wernt there because there kind of in jokes.

Yes it did look like spam, if they are in jokes whats the point posting them up on a forum where 99% of the people wouldn't get them.

cant share jokes if your not alloud to tell, people would shout at you if you started filling the gaydon topics...yes...its happened before and in other threads well, frankly would get lost as alot of shizz has been before

exactly, we were reminiscing on things that happened over the weekend in our (rather large) group. wolfys law was a reoccuring joke throughout the weekend.

Its exactly the same as saying, you cants start a new thread if you want to write a joke, you have to put it in insomniac or something. Or all engines problems must be written in a giant engine thread.

the idea of different threads is so you can differentiate between things. If we started talking about our weekend at gaydon on anoraks thread it would steal it off him with our silly jokes... silly jokes - silly chat... so it would be in the wrong section too if we turned anoraks thread into that.
