Ah the joys of a car tax free haven in the car known as Scamp. The plates do look very cool indeed, i got them made by Framptons :(

If I inserted a trapezium into the a-frame of the sponge-guzzler, will it increase the bhp by much?

How much is this engine worth, I've got no pictures but it's yellow with some blue paint flaking thorough?

Thanks in advance.

Can you tell me what this part is? It's sort of metal and I don't know where it came from.

No pictures as yet but I'm sure I'll forget anyway.

Thanks

yellow engines are worth much more than blue ones, so i would guess a yellow/blue engine to be worth somewhere in the middle

Some companys that Recondition Engines paint them dif. colours to show the grade of the Rebuild.
If i remember right Blue is the basic.Yellow mid range.Gold seal the best. Some Companys Gold paint looks a bit Yellow.
The old MG Metro Red Lumps are great in a Mini.Years ago we had to search for Austin 1300cc cars to get the big Engine out of.
When young and Mad on Minis i found an old man with a mint rare MG 1300cc Austin £175 for sale.
Knocked his door said i buy it .He said most people like a good look and a run around the block first.
No need i only want the Engine and box out of it.He went mad at me No Sale i ran back to my Mini.
Another old tale.

I've been offered a mini but it's a special edition and they want £9.400 for it. Do you think I should buy it? It's a really rare edition, it's the square shaped mini with a fiat badge on the front and panda written on the back. They say I need to get back to them asap or they will up the price and poke my eyes out with spoons.

Thanks in advance.

I was told to use a clay bar on my mini but the closest I could get was hair putty, it doesn't seem to be leaving a shiny finish, any ideas?
