I can see where you are coming from Amy, and i wouldn't want to disagree with your friend, but have you thought about the spoiler off a Plymouth Super Bird?

Having no experience in this field, i wouldn't know of the effect this type of spoiler would have, maybe someone with sufficient knowledge would know

On second thoughts could someone maybe photoshop one of those Plymouth spoilers onto a 1989 mini, but then add group 5 arches, 10 inch wheels and a union jack roof in pink and green???? I can't find a picture of a normal mini, could you maybe use one I've got of a clubby and change it to a roundnose? Pleeeeease?

Well since I believe that I have a greath breadth of knowledge(however very little depth!), ie I know practically nothing about everything I feel that I should comment!!

If you mini is post '72 city hle MPi model then you can expect 10-15% gains

However on ALL othe models the gain may be less(or greater)

It will also depend on the colour, I am reliably informed that kawasaki green is the lightest paint known to man, therefore any car painted in this colour can expect to be 10-15MPH faster than a red/blue/ or green.

Well, I hear you say, what if I DON'T paint my car surely that would be faster?

If I had a $ for everytime I've heard this I would have enough to buy a gallon Petrol now!!

The rough unpainted metal will create a drag and REDUCE the top speed by 8.76-9.1MPH
