Managed to get something done today Since fitting the weber - the oil pressure gauge pipe melted on the exhaust fanimold resulting in oil EVERYWHERE lol. So cured that by going to DSN to get a replacement pipe - but ended up breaking down in the car park then decided my HG was failing (Mayo in filler cap ) So that means a quick HG change tomorrow so i can get to malvern next week lol. Also fitted my flaps friday afternoon, and made a weber linkage bracket this afternoon, so i got a few pics:

Stg 3 12g295 head
Guessworks refurb box with a 3.44 diff
SW5 cam with alloy vernier
Minispares Ultralight flywheel and backing plate
+0.20 flat top minispares pistons
Metro leccy dizzy

I bet i spent more on mine shifty Just the weber has cost me about £400 to date, and i dont regret it one bit! My spec has changed a little as well now - Kent 296 camshaft, and an all singing all dancing crankshaft with centre strap, although the engine is going in next month, they wont be going in till later this year (for BH2NR).

Bloody expensive things, I let mine get away from me, It was just supposed to be a quick refurb of an engine I had lying around. Before you know it you've kicked the arse out of a grand and theres no going back!!

Mines going in the week after Malvern, just hope Poos old engine makes it that far!!

LOL! I know the feeling . Mine *should* be going in sometime between the 26th of March to the 25th of April. I really hope mine makes it to Malvern as well - its got a BIG _ _ _ _ OFF oil leak at the minute . Will all be alright though lads - ive ordered a mini fridge for the drinks!
