i am using megajolt for my ignition so no dizzy to worry about.

Matt, you have entered a world I know nothing about. However, the fact that you're running MegaJolt makes me wonder if your ignition map is right for your engine. If you can temporarily re-fit a standard dizzy and test drive the car, you'll quickly determine if the problem is fuel related or ignition related.

BJst416, most people limit their use of double-clutching to cars that already have damaged or no synchros. If the syncrhos are in good order there may be some reduction in their wear, however it comes at the expense of more wear on the clutch components.

well i have done the clutch return stop adjustment as there was a half inch gap!!! and i have doen teh tappets(2 and 3 were a little loose). when i started it up it was nice and quiet but it is noisy again now. i will take it for a drive and see how it is.

As for the ignition map, DK, i thinkit is very close to what is needed. to be honest i am not that sure. maybe i should have more of a tweak. i will try and post up the pic of it.

Matt, as I mentioned earlier... you're way beyond where I can help since you've got a MegaJolt. The person you need to email is Marcel Chichak. He's the ignition/distributor guru. However, when it come to ignition curves, Marcel tends to answer that the only way to determine what's right and what will work best for your engine is dyno testing. Still, it wouldn't hurt to ask him to review your map.

Did you ever find an answer? i seem to have that problem on my new one, cant start the rebuild until this ones on the road and running, i can get up to speed nursing it but if i was to put my foot down it bogs down until i lift off and nurse it again.
