ok just a quick query to make sure i havent made a stupid mistake

i applied the seam sealer to the rear passenger arch area once everything was primed and nicely dried, then gave the seam sealer 15 minutes then applied the stone chip

now im a little worried, will the seam sealer set ok around the stone chip? i didnt heavily cover the seam sealer with stone chip as i didnt want to have it stay like putty

Ideally you should have given the seam sealer a good 2 hours to set properly. I dont know if it will react or not now tho, ive never made the mistake!

its ok ive rectified it now, the stonechip has set so ive carefully skimmed a thin layer of the seam sealer off

i will keep a good eye on it though as i dont want a horrible reaction and have to grind the panel back to bare metal again ;)

thanks for the info
