I forgot to take pictures before I disconnected and removed the coolant lines (at the time, it seemed obvoius).

Let me confirm that I got this right. On a mid-90s SPI:


The large leg of the "Tree" coolant hose goes to the bottom of the Radiator.

One leg of the Tree goes up and connects to the adapter running to the heater.

Another leg of the TREE connects to the water pump.

Does the forth leg of the Tree connect to the TOP or BOTTOM hose port on the intake manifold?


There is also a 3-way adapter that comes from the heater unit inside the car. I assume the middle barb runs to the intake manifold? Top or Bottom? The third leg then goes to the small port on the thermostat housing, right?

If anyone has a picture, that might help.

Cancel that request - I remembered that I did take notes during the teardown and recorded where these lines went to. I'm getting old....
