Hi,
I have fitted m decompression plate and torqued the head down to the specified torque setting in the haynes manuel, is this correct for a supercharged engine,
It seemed logical to me as its in haynes, its just that somebody i know mentioned it might need to be more!

The torque required is determined by the stud size and thread, not how much power you are running.

If you over-torque them you risk stretching the studs leaving you with a lower clamping force.
