we've been importing cars from japan for over 10 years.... and have always had good dealings with them.... in the last 2 years we've imported land rover discovery's and minis - mainly due to the fact that both are rust buckets if they've lived over here...!!!

why japan - well, the air con does have its benefits.... even in this country...!!! but we have an excellent buyer network out there who we've worked with for years and know exactly what we want to buy...... so if a customer asks for a 97 cooper 1.3i in near new condition... then thats what they send us...!! no nasty surprises...!!!!

also, its because they are rust free..... underneath, sills, all the usual places are free of it...!! its great...!!! - they're nearly all low mileage... and the japanese do tend to treat they're cars really well...!!!!

if you would like more info.... check out the website and give us a call...!!

we're always happy to help...!!!!

oh, just for the record.... no i'm not japanese... british through and through...!!!

The beauty of Japanese imports is the fact that they dont use salt on the roads in winter so corrosion levels on the imported vehilces are very low, until they hit Blighty unfortunatley.

The other couple of things going for them is they tend to be used as toys due to the high cost of motoring so mileages are good for their age and also "one upmanship" is huge over there. If your next door neighbour has one it is almost compulsory to have a better one. A quick look at some of the Japanese tuning & styling products shows the Japanese treat their cars very seriously.

Its not just minis I have a Mitsubishi Delica which is a 4x4 MPV for ferrying the family about and for work (I work rurally for any 4x4 bashers out there) and its like the Starship Enterprise inside, rotating Captain seats, glass roof, split aircon etc, just about every concievable toy you could need or never need.
