I have now comverted the car back to the original type exhaust and taken the lcb manifold off and the car works perfect again i still have the k&n on and i have always been having trouble since i first put the lcb on over a year ago hope this is the end off the troubles (and so people know it was a maniflow lcb so it was not just a cheape one)

Sounds like you had an air leak on the manifold before the Lambda sensor, as i had descriebed earlier.
Unless there is something physicaly wrong with the manifold, i cant see it being anything other than the manifold gasket that was allowing air into the exhaust befor the lambda sensor. Did you use a new Injection type exhaust gastket? I doubt it the manifold itself as that is just a series of pipes, and all you have done is change it for a slightly different series of pipes.

thanks for responding and i do not know if it was a injction specific gasket but i did change the gasket about 5 times and i now have the same type gasket as i had before and also i had more than just one lcb manifold i had a chepee one before that is why i went up to a maniflow one to see if that fixed it but it did not but hey it works now with an original one so good
