iv PMed her, i just really dont want to go spending loads of money on cooper s brakes.. then loads of money on top of that on wheels. and i dont fancy attempting the fiesta conversion either

If your going to do something propperly, do it propperly. spend the money. It will look how you want it too, and possibly add a small value to the car.

Cutting corners could end in disaster.

Well then I suggest that 86-Mini-Chelsea should PM Amy. I may be wrong but I was under the impression that Amy was one of those using Fiesta calipers.

Nope, we tried them over Momo's 8.4 discs, with Wood & Picket arches and they're fine, look lovely in fact.....

Toad, however, has a proper 7.5 Cooper S disc set up..... no Fiesta rubbish for me :D :)

Apologies for not replying to your PM sooner 86-Mini-Chelsea, been really busy at home this week >_<

if your wanting the cooper s wheels that fit over 8.4s you will need group 6 arches or sports pack.

although they have a big offset....blash blah blah! they are fantastic for handleing and look great

you could buy the conversion but its easyer to buy these >_<

OK, I'll say it one more time for those who have not seen the last thousand times Simon and myself have posted about these wheels............. (and this isn't a dig at you in particular elisha-the-cooper, it's just getting a bit tiresome now)

The wheels WE have are Cooper S copies, we don't know if they're Jap Import or a UK make as we bought them from a guy on eBay.

They DO fit over 8.4 discs with Wood & picket arches, as we have tried them on our own mini van.........

They DON'T eat wheel bearings for breakfast.

The car DOES handle amazingly well with them on.

& The car DOES look good with them on!

They are an affordable, great looking wheel with many options for different brake set ups and arches. Including 8.4 discs with W&P arches! :D

i clicked reply i didnt mean to quote you at all. ( plus i looked at what the guy said 1st, didnt read the whole thread

what i wrote was about the cooper s wheels from minispeed, which do need rather big arches because of the offset on them.
