I am looking to get some decent seats in my mini and i was thinking of getting them from another car mr2,tt,s2000 etc but i was wondering would they actually fit? does anyone have any idea of maximum height width length etc when fitting reclining/flip up seats in a mini?

if mocked my swift Gti seats and they just seam to fit, will need some cutomising to get to fit but i shall fabricate some brackets. The space between the seats means that the handbrake is a little difficult to get at if you have bighands

i have some mamba buckets in mine, there ace! £200 for the pair with subframes! there realy good, i got some 3 point sabelt harneses in there to cant beet them on an island!

yey me too, they're super comfy, quite light and hold you in around the twisty's.

MG/Rover Metro seats are good, like the ones fitted in injection Minis like mine, quite comfy and scrap Rover Metros are ten a penny now.

ive got Ford RS Turbo (Fiesta/Escort/Sierra) Recaro's in mine and they fit a treat, even with door pockets (all be it that they get a little squashed when the doors are closed.

I'm guna have some MG metro seats up for grabs soon? Pretty sure they'll fit in, have a fair bit of side support on them as well.

astra gte recaros, i had them in my first mini, designed the subframes my self and my dad weled them up for me, fitted ok and were nice and easy. other things to do are look through the local papers and ask on the forums, you gte some good bargins on there if you are quick.

I have been working on my mini all week and at the bodyshop it is at there is a crashed fiat x19 unfortunatly the owner will not sell me the seats but these look like they would fit, as they are fully reclinable and they look fabulous, but does anyone know where i could get a pair?
