i know millsminis plays with toy cars

They aren't toy cars.......

Yes indeed I do have a RADIO Controlled Car....(please they aren't called Remote!!)....

BUT I race Battery powered ones instead...... >_<

You tell 'em! ^_^
Battery powered is the way forward....no complaints about the noise, you can race inside a nice warm hall during the winter and they're not really much slower than a Nitro one unless you go to a huuuuge open space!

Click me!

And a pic of one of my latest bodyshells...

Totally agree with you Wayne.....battery powered is the most better closer racing. If anything having raced my car against nitros outdoors, I was pretty much on the same pace as them admittedly they were quicker down the main straight but I overtook them in the corners....

Nice looking shell Wayne...i'll have to pop up sometime to race against you again, hopefully with my new car!!

never owned any nitro r/c cars, only battery powered ones, but used to spend a lot of money on them. had a Yokomo MR4-TC with carbon fibre everything - chassis, wishbones etc, alloy diffs, alloy adjustable shocks, titanium nuts, bolts, driveshafts etc. ran with 5mm ground clearance as well. used it for serious indoor racing, cost me well over £600 to put it all together, before i even got all the radio gear, batteries and motors! it would only run for 5 minutes, before the batteries needed changing, but it was long enough to complete a race. still got an HPI Racing RS4 Rally, thats cost quite a bit as well, its got carbon fibre and alloy everywhere. ive probably spent more on those then i have on my mini :D

Here's one of mine:

Gonna flog it though, might as well ask here what it's worth. It's a 1/8 scale Schumacher (well, Power Racing, sold by Schumacher) Swift. Not bad, but nowhere near as good as some of the others in this thread. Battery powereed ones are soooooo much better and less hassle all in all I reckon.

I much prefer my electric 1/10 Losi xxx

I'd have thought less than that to be honest. But I guess it's got some upgrades and all ofthe rechargable batteries, spare handset and so on.
