and low and behold there was life!
changed it back to the other and no spark
so now its time to key in the timing and then crack the megajolt out thanks for all the help!

after all the signs pointed to the edis unit being fine, i got another today...
and low and behold there was life!
changed it back to the other and no spark so now its time to key in the timing and then crack the megajolt out
