Hi minimadmatt can I offer some friendly advice (not trying to *woman of ill repute* your car/taste off just to get that straight from the start) I recall when I was your age (18 now) I was into all that max power stuff and wanted underbody neaons big chrome wheels and a huge fortec bodykit etc... on my mini. However over the past few years my tastes have matured. I look back and am glad I didn't do anything to daft, most kits etc.. end up looking tatty after a few months as they crack etc.. and bring the look of the car down. I know a few people in college who have done up cars and they get ripped to pieces all the time about them. Just keep this in mind know as you may end up regreting it later. :cheese:

yeah not saying all modifications are bad and each to there own and all that, but theres good mods and then ott i.e fortec kits 14" wheels, I think that alot of people are going that way aswell due to the mini mags featuring modded cars alot of them lately looking naff. I appreciate the work involved in things like the red zeemax mini with the new Bini rear light smoothed in etc.. that was featured a while back but in this months mags there are some very naff modded cars getting features.

I personally cant stand modded cars where no thought or plan has gone in to them. At the moment im trying to make my thirty look like a Miglia/street racer but Im keeping it subtle so the performance speaks for itself. :fear:
My next cars gunna have 14 inch wheels and a fortek kit cause thats gunna be a 250bhp racer so everything shall look like a race car really should do.
All Im gunna say is dont just bolt stuff to the car cause its looks glittsy & flash. If it dont look right dont fit it. Its as simple as that.
If you dont take my word for it, would you turn your nose up to an original Cooper S with no mods.................exactly, didnt think so.

Well minimoi i like that spoiler looks cool, Mgb V8 style, very inconspicuous(god knows how you spell that!).
Yea must admit wen i was 17 before i got mine i wanted one with a super wide fortek! Now i'm happy with my sports pack arches they cover my wheels well, and stainless skirts(the ones out of the stainless arch cover kits), looks smart and individual. Luckily my dad has done minis before and my girlfriend has good taste so i get lots of style tips lol.
original cooper s uuuuuuuuggggggggghhhhhhhh yuck!

ha ha gotcha just cleaning up my drool really!

but at the moment i want 2 have a nice little mini 2 my own taste which i hope 2 get featured :cheese:

i agree with you on that one. with only a few decent kits around, its difficult to do something different. miniworld featured a mini with mk4 golf headlights and flip paint. it had a nice bodykit but i cant remember what it was called
