My garage is 8' x 17' and it feels too small with all the clutter you amass when working on minis.

My dad has a 10 x 16 and it does feel a bit too small. But I guess however much room you have, you'll always fill it!

Nope!

If you want to store all that stuff and have room to work and walk around the car you need a bigger shed!

*Edit* A 10' x 16' shed will only give you a couple of feet spare around the outside of the mini..... not enough room to fit much in there with it.

what has everyone who a workshop got?

Well as we dont have a garage, we took the 12ft trampoline down in the garden then reconnected the tow bits so there was the arc's and we put one at each end then we put the other poles (supports for the safety net) going from one end to the other then two poles at the top, Covered it with a massive tarpoline and tied it down to hooks in the concete floor and wooden fence.

It brilliant i love it!! never leaks, stops the wind!

But.. Unfortunatly the kids want the trampoline back for the summer so its all got to come down and mini poor mini will be uncovered epcept by the tarp over it.

My Dad's workshop where I built up my Clubby and where he is currently doing his Cooper is 21' x 8'. It's just about OK length-ways - room for toolbox & a work bench, but WAY too narrow. We had to keep shuffling the car back & forth to get to each side end it was a complete pain in the neck. I reckon you should be looking at a minimum of 12' wide for comfort and 22' plus for length.

No garage is ever big enough! so long as you can open both doors fully and have areas for a big bench and "stuff" then it'd be ok I guess.

Ive got a standard Council garage which is useless to be honest. its about 2.3x10M
Bought a load of MDF last week to put a load of shelves up, just waiting for a mate to come n help me then ill have a LOAD more room.

If it was just a work bench and the mini id have a fair bit of room. But i have boxes full of C**p stacked up everywhere and you can barely move in there.

Does the job for storing stuff but lacks when it comes to working in there
