heya poeple soon ill be making a fiberglass battery box and have the chiken wire to make my mould but i need the measurements please could someone measure it for me thanks =]

i do have a mini :) lol but it doesnt have a battery box and want too savemone & weight by making a fiberglass one =]

Be much easier to make a mould out of hardboard or similar, or find a plaggy tub if you can find one of a good size.

Well i was thinkin do the mould out of chiken wire and then g over it with fiberglass it would make it easyer for me * i think * lol

make it out of board and you'll only have to lay up the actual box.

Yeah but releasing the fibreglass from the box without a releasing agent will be pretty hard/impossible! And leaving it in will make it heavier than a steel one!

The chicken wire sounds like a good idea. I've fibreglassed a few times with chicken wire and it worked well. And even if you cant get the chicken wire to release it doesnt matter, just leave it on!
