just got my tickets to see Yazoo at Hammersmith

90% of you wont know who they are!

my favorite band in the mid 80's

dug out thier old albums yesterday and my daughter said " there big CD's Dad!"


But think forward 20 years, which reformed group will you be going to see?

well I'm a huge Gary numan fan and i had the chance to go and see him last month (he's never stopped touring). thing is, i'm not keen on all his latest stuff so i prefer to remember him from when he was good

i always liked Nick heyward so wouldn't mind seeing him or even climie fisher but as one of them is dead i dont think that's going to happen.

yep i remember Alf (Alison Moyet) and Vince Clarke, didn't realize they have got together again.
from a time when music was great (or is that my age showing) we had a good selection of 80's music playing at work the other week, brought back a few memories

Depeche Mode.
Vince Clarke is an effin' genius, but I'm glad he left the Mode. They wouldn't have become nearly as sinister with him still in the band, and I doubt that he would have teamed up with Andy Bell, either. Erasure are still twuely fannytastic.

PS: Enjoy the gig 89red!!! I'm not jealous at all.....................honest............no.......not me.
