just got my tickets to see Yazoo at Hammersmith =]

90% of you wont know who they are!

my favorite band in the mid 80's

dug out thier old albums yesterday and my daughter said " there big CD's Dad!"

But think forward 20 years, which reformed group will you be going to see?

well I'm a huge Gary numan fan and i had the chance to go and see him last month (he's never stopped touring). thing is, i'm not keen on all his latest stuff so i prefer to remember him from when he was good :dontgetit:

i always liked Nick heyward so wouldn't mind seeing him or even climie fisher but as one of them is dead i dont think that's going to happen.

PS: of course i remember yazoo

yep i remember Alf (Alison Moyet) and Vince Clarke, didn't realize they have got together again.
from a time when music was great (or is that my age showing) we had a good selection of 80's music playing at work the other week, brought back a few memories

I know loads of bands from around then :dontgetit:

This week I booked some VIP tickets to take the Mrs to see Dolly Parton at the O2 in July!!

Depeche Mode.
Vince Clarke is an effin' genius, but I'm glad he left the Mode. They wouldn't have become nearly as sinister with him still in the band, and I doubt that he would have teamed up with Andy Bell, either. Erasure are still twuely fannytastic.

PS: Enjoy the gig 89red!!! I'm not jealous at all.....................honest............no.......not me.

Don't forget the brief 'The Assembly' :techsupport:

As for the Mode; One the UK's most underated bands. For once the Americans had proper taste when they took them to their hearts. Dave Ghan=God
