I know nothing about ICE, so can someone tell me why my stereo cuts out when I have it loud?? I've got a Kenwood head unit, Alpine amp and some kind of sub...

If I turn the volume up above a certain point, it cuts out.

its the amplifier tripping out mate, its nothing you can fix unless you turn all the bass down on THE HEAD UNIT

if it still does it, dial down the amplifiers gain

if it still does it then, you need to get your multimeter out and get to grips with mr amplifier

I had this problem with my old head unit and it turned out it was a loose conection INSIDE the head unit its self.

Dont want to push you off track here into thinking it is this or anything. But just to let you know.

its entirely possible that its a loose connection somewhere, either in the head unit or amplifier, and when vibration kicks in, it shorts the connection, but unless your competant in electronics i wouldnt dare think of trying to fix this problem
