ive got a load of these sockets. they work brilliantly, if its a loose fit on the nut, jst turn it round one 'point' and it will fit snug.

I bought Halfords spanners and socket sets where half are metric and half imperial, seems to solve this problem just as easily.
Imperial for the mini, metric for the motorbike! Same ratchets etc for everything.
Though I've bought a few 'special' sockets for odd jobs the set of sockets, and spanner set have covered mos tthings for 5 years now, and are still in perfectly usable condition, good stuff!
