hi
i would like to to know what is the right tap for my weber inlet manifold
i need to drill this inlet and then to tape this one. The bolt size is 5/8 unf, but i dunno what is the right tap necessary.
i don't have a gauge in order to know the right tap i need .
can you give the right tap ?
thanks a lot !

do you mean a 5/8 spanner fits the head of the bolt?
I have seen two diferent threads used,
the usual one is threaded 5/8 unf (5/8x 18tpi) and has IIRC an 15/16" bolt head.
the other one I have seen has a smaller bolt head (possibly 5/8) and a thread that I suspect is 3/8 UNF (3/8 x 24 tpi)
anyway here is a handy imperial tap chart too.
