Well, i've never welded properly before, just practiced a bit.

I welded in my new floorpan today, however, i've found this when looking under the car..

Now, i have an idea of how to fix it, but first, have a look:

I'm just going to cut out that lip once i've flipped the car over, and weld from the outside, just lots of careful cutting and sanding, but should tidy things up, then primer, seal, paint?

I realise i should i have cut the floor now, to fit snugly in the hole i'd left, i just worried about cutting too much, then not being able to join them! I have no spare metal atm!

What do you guys think?

id take it off and cut it properly to fit then it will be even tidyer :P

im sure it can be tidied up without having to cut the whole thing back out!
