Spray Gun Question

I have seen a spray gun at my dads work and i was just wondering is it all right for using to spray a car with ? heres a pic of it to show you what kind it is, i dont know the model or make but i think its been used for painting & decoraring thanks

Hard to say without some info or a better picture.
Get a name off it and model number if there is one.

thats normally used for painting large things, lorries for example. bit over kill really unless you ar efamiliar with how it works.

What Rozzer said is spot on. They're for commercials really, it has a big separate pot so you can get more paint in at a time. Not suited for cars unless you get a very small fluid setup and practice with it. they tend to throw the paint on very thickly, which causes bad orange peel or runs! Oh and it's a Devilbiss JGA.

So thats the Devilbiss JGA pressure feed then, ive got the Devilbiss JGA Suction feed, I got confussed with that

Depends what you want to do with it. A 1.8 is only really suitable for primer. For general basecoat, lacquer and solid gloss, you would be best off with a 1.4 setup.

Any bodyshop supplier, or try ebay. You won't just need the needle, you need a whole new fluid setup which consists of the needle, fluid tip and air cap.
