Hi All,

Got to patch this up, not 100% on weather to cut it all out or just the hole. It seems that the metal behind the rot seems solid but would like to clean it up.
Any ideas would be great! >_<

Remove all the rust, then you'll be able to see what you've got. You might have to fit a whole lower section. At the best you'll just need a plate around the holed area.

Hi Guys,

Cleaned it up a little with an abrasive wheel. It seems the that the iner arch is corroded and has a massive hole in but behind it seems to be solid metal. I didn't think that these were double skinned? It does not look like a plate has been but oni guess it must of been.
So should i do any thing with that bit?
The hole near the floor pan i 'm guessing that i'll cut it square and weld a patch from the out side of the car but then what do you do with the inside, use filler??

It looks like there has been a plate welded on the outside. I'd remove the plate, cut away any rust and replace the plate properly. Also remove the under seal or you'll have a little bonfire going on.
