Hi,

I am getting my mini resprayed inside and out in the next couple of months.

At the weeked I am going to be turning it on its side and stonechipping the underside, and wheel arches.

Once it is painted I am going to get he finished car waxoyled.

Should i be looking at also getting the underside of the car sprayed, I have already asked for engine bay wheels arches etc.

Thanks

Jon

I'd go for getting the underside sprayed body colour, doesn't use much paint, you don't need to be too fussy and it looks more 'together'

Best of luck!

If i get the underside painted and then go over it with waxoyl - will the colour still show through?

Thanks

Painting underneath looks the muts.

But it does use alot of paint Im afraid and wont be cheap cause its not always easy for a painter.

Its easiest when the shells been sandblasted, seam sealered and stone chip.

As already said, if you use clear waxoyl the colour will still show through!

Its up to you, but it does look good.

Agreed, it always makes a big difference. Looks great with a bit of detailing.
