I would also be interested in knowing a rough price for the job. I've heard it's not a particularly long one but there is one bolt that is a *bugger* at the bottom of the clutch assembly.

Its not too hard to do but yes there is a difficult bolt to undo on the clutch housing cover.

P.S you might want to edit the swearing out of your post mickardo88

Thats a hard one to answer really, because garages charge different amounts for labour and what not.
its not that difficult to do yourself, but you will need a flywheel puller, and you need to know which of the two clutch types you have, verto or pre verto.
the pre verto type is a bit cheaper, if you dont know how to tell which one you have look at the arm that goes to the slave cylinder, if its a short one and the slave cylinder is on a bracket pointing downwards you have a verto.

I could do it for about £370 for a verto.

The likes of Quickfit probably have a fixed price for the job - if you wanted to take the risk of letting them near your car!

i just had mine changed cost about 350 quid, thats a reasonable price to pay, but just make sure u trust the garage because they left mine in a rite state, now its leaking oil from the gear selector arm and ive got thru about 6-7 litres of oil in about 3 months
