Have you put oil and water in it?(?/??????????)

Is the car actually overheating or are the guages just saying that is is?

I only ask because I know that you have had wireing issues lately.

How low is low oil pressure?

Either could be caused by the other, let's hope the temp caused the pressure drop.

not on the mini :(

i have had a v6 cologne engine overheat when being driven normally

and a pinto engine have the pressure drop to zero when running up a drag strip this weekend.

i have a scribbled down list of bits that may have caused them, but was seeing if you could come up with any newens :(

they go hand in hand. If it over heats it will have low oil pressure too. And considering last time i saw you your rad was pisin out water its probably that. Put a nice 4 core rad in and new pipes, see how you get on.

Could be numerous thing whats the back groudn on the Pinto engine has it been apart recently? Could there be anything blocking the oil galleries up? Have you checked any other things such as compression?
