Has anyone got a jig to do this i did my last one using the frame but its a bit cumbersone and thought about making a jig
any suggestions was thinking of using 1'' box and trianglating it

Most people leave the subframe in to make sure it lines up properly.
Bit of a fiddle, but you only have to tack it in, then you can remove the subframe and seam weld the lot up if your struggling to weld round it!

I would say the best jig is the subby itself. Just unbolt on mount, cut it out, weld it etc. Then bolt it back on, then do the next.

its what i did this time and its all lined up nicely
just thought a jig would be handy if replacing the whole heal board
