thanks 4 the invite guys but the mini has gone and has been replaced with a vw camper 4 the summer so we can take the kids away and go 2 the shows when we have some spare cash the next mini will be boughtI gave this young sprog a part code and he was confused. I even gave alterntives(sp?) and took me like 1 hour to order a radiator(they were best price) and some lightbulbs for my step dads's landy series 2.lol

Oh, what time do peeps want to meet up then? Could do with a bit of time to pop home first, grab a bite to eat praps. 7:30 ok with everyone or has a time been arranged already? Gives plenty of time for those that clock off at 6 to chill a bit and then get to the pub.
Be warned, i'll be doing my best to find someone good with suspension......mines cr*p. One side is significantly lower than the other so everytime i take a left turn it scrapes the wheel!

Anyway, bk to the club - are we aiming to have a treasurer, event co-ordinator and all them kinda things or for now just take it as a group of mini enthusiasts meeting fortnighly for a drink n chin wag? Might be best until we have deffinate numbers. I'm not bad with a computer but i just dabble with graphic software mostly when i get bored/have time. Once we have a name and stuff i could perhaps get some fliers circulated so if we see a mini we can leave a leaflet under the wiper. Generate as much interest as poss. It'd be easy enough to set up a facebook or myspace page for the club which i think would be a good idea. As for a standalone . com /co.uk ive never set one up and anyway, i only remember a bit of html - most stuff now is flash which we'd be better off with (much nicer and quicker loading time). Still, shall bring a camera or just take some pics on phone and then keep em ready to upload onto a pagewhen we have one and we can have a small blog with pics for our first meet

In the mean time i'll get intouch with a few mini owners i know jotted around. See you all on the 6th!

Its great to see so much interest, we should have done this ages ago!!!
DM08 I'm sure we can help you with your droopy suspension.
Time wise for the meet, I agree with the 7.30 suggestion.
So to summerise:-
Venue - Horseshoes on the A5
Date - Tuesday 6th May
Time - 7.30pm
How does this sound to everyone?
