Am going to buy the Vizard books when I get back and build my next engine myself! It's the only part of the car that I haven't done taken apart! That and I need to learn to weld!

He's jsut called, put the engine back in and the noise still there! Took it back out, took the cam out and it is actually knackered! F@cking Brilliant! Have to get a cam for him by tomorrow but the only ones I can get are £139.99! I have £140 in the bank so could buy it but not get it posted! for f**k Sake, will anything go right for me?

I will not be doing this again! I now have £30 to last me a week and I still have to pay the garage bill!

Oh and yeah, it just went in for a head gasket! Now it's had a new clutch, all the bloody gaskets and the cam turns up tomorrow!

Now have to find another engine to fit for the trip or put my 998 back into it! I don't Bloody believe it!




on the up side, no longer have to buy a clutch, camshaft or followers!

Did the noise only start after the head gasket was changed?

When I get back will buy a new short engine and rebuild the bloody thing! my block and pistons are fine just needs a new crank, cam and followers! will probably sell it to help get the new engine!
