I have a mini cabriolet it seems to have an intermittant power drain somewhere.

occasionally, usually overnight the battery goes dead, not a drop of juice left.

I have fitted a new battery and the charging system seems fine,

I can only assume that something is not turning itself off occasionally. maybe ecu or security system (standard)

any one any thoughts or come across this problem before.

I am not an auto electrician but can sort of use a multimeter if I know what to look for

whats worse is its the missus's daily driver so every time it goes wrong get real ear bashing
