If u look at the rear suspension it will have a ally trumpet with a large lock nut and a long bar attatched about 1" round, instead of a long cast ally trumpet, this goes along the lengh of the subframe one will be inbetween battery box and wheel but the passenger side will be easier to spot

Sorry thats the best way i can descibe it! lol

Not forgetting that it's standard for a mini to be higher at the back than the front....

Yup, it's meant to be like that. Levelling out a Mini upsets the handling.

simple thing would be to post a picture up of the side view of your car, then we'll be able to say whether it's abnormal or not...

HILO is actually a trade mark, and the best are the genuine articles.

Fitting them is not necessary and more often than not, actually done to mask other suspension issues...

When Hilo's are fitted you should also get them set up using corner weight equipment, this is the ONLY way they will improved handling of the mini, most of the time they will have no effect, and sometimes a detrimental effect.

Git sits 'high' at the back... if you can call it high...

I would say the front has sagged slightly over time but not too badly. New front cones and knuckle joints may be a worthwhile investment to get it back how it should be - hilos would only mask the wear and tear it shows.

Obviously if you want to lower it then hilos are the answer - along with shocks designed fro lowered cars if you go more than 1" down. However it would still be sensible to refurbish the front end components even if fitting hilos.
