It looks quite normal to me, best way to see if the car has sagged at the front is to measure the leading edge of the sill to the ground and im sure someone on here knows what distance i should be. :owned:

thanks for the help apart from they dont seem to be what you have described they have an ajustment but that is for soft ride or firm ride are hilo's good should i get some will they make the mini handle better or not please
also what is a good make?

You seem to be looking at your dampers (shocks). These do absolutely nothing to set the ride height of the car (unless something is very wrong somewhere). You need to be looking at the spring strut that bears against the suspension arm. The spring in a Mini is a cone shaped lump of rubber also known as a doughnut, below that (at the front, they are in front of the spring at the rear) is a strut of alloy called a trumpet that directs the suspension load into the spring. There is a balljoint called a knuckle joining the suspension arm to the strut. Since the springs are made from rubber they degrade over time, far faster than a steel spring will. As said above from the look of the photos your car has settled at the front a little, but the rear looks fine. New cone springs and knuckles will cure it. In fact the car doesn't look to have settled very far at all so it may only be the knuckles that need replacing. In either case, the shocks are not the problem.
