the gear box is being striped down now

dont no if the engine is a leaded or unleaded

i have been told it is leaded but dont know for sure

ma engine num is 99HB81PO112799 if any one knows or know a website i can look at

the gearbox has now been striped down and rebuilt all new gaskets ect the block is next the cyclinda head is holding everything up now need a unleaded one the subframes and some other bits have been painted and most of the bits in the engine and been cleaned

have you marked and remembered which slots the pushrods came from?

From looking at the engine code... Your engine is a 998 that should have flat top pistons with circlip wrist pin retention ;D

Well it's not the end of the world but each Pushrod will wear to it's own rocker head and follower,.. so it's nice if you can keep them together as a matched 3-some, it's general practice to do it that way when building/disemboweling engines,....

hi got a update

the archs have been fibreglassed on to the body now still gotta put filler over that yet

the engine is almost finish got the last set of gaskets yesterday and everything is painted

i bought a air sander yesterday too nearly ready for paintin the body

and i have ordered some more parts from moss

left and right door skins

bypass hose

some bushes

thermostat

2 bump stops

and a seal rubber ring on the top arm

goin to pick them up next sat

mine was a mini city e but in the restoration it came back as a 1275gt

nice work mine is more rusty than yours so im reshelling it with a 1100 specail sheel that i got for free lol need front panels but got them at my freinds you must do alot of work on that from what it was to what is it keep up the good work

hi all get another update

what has been done

1. bonnet has been rapaired it started to crack at the sides and their was alot of filler to hold the catch in

2. the engine is finished just got get a new clutch disc

3. the car has been primed

4. the car has been paint needs a few touch ups

5. door skins are on

i ran out of primer on the doors and i didnt paint the inside of the car to save money i am just gunna get a spray can for the bits u will be able to see
