Hi all,
I am about to respray the outside of our project mini, but can't decide which way to go about spraying the body seams and covers.
I've seen photos here where the seam covers are sprayed seperately, and I've seen photos of them sprayed after fixing to the car.
So, do any of you have a preferred method?
I'm leaning towards doing them on the car so that I can seam seal the tops, but I'd like to hear your opinions as well.
TIA.
Spraying Body Seam Covers.

I would personally spray them off the car, making sure the paint doesn't go in the channel. If it does they probabley will not fit onto the seams

take the seam covers off and paint down the seams and refit the seam covers and seal the top and spray with the rest of the car.
if you paint off the car when you come to refit they can need a bit of force with a block of wood and hammer to get them in far enough and this will mark them,) paint going inside them will not stop them from been fitted.)

I meant without having the bash them on violently, marking them

Thanks both of you.
