I've got an engine that I recently got hold of. Its starts with the number 38G527. I was wondering if anyone has any idea what this is. I've checked loads of books and the net but can't find anything.

I was told that it may be a Gold or Silver seal engine but I'm not sure. It also has a remote gear change box fitted to it.
