correct it is a map light! its annoying because everyone grabs hold of it to try and shut the door... tisk
those lights im not sure on legality but they mount using the same brackets as mine do, two up two down, i got mine off here i think, hard ones to source, i was going to make my own....

iv just bought a 2 up and s down light bracket!!!
Im gonna make some of these for my clubby and use rally giants or cibies

I have a set of two up, two downs in my garage that I commendeered off my old mini with 4 rally giants which the lenses have fallen out of. Surely the brackets aren't that rare. You can get them from Demon Tweeks for £30.

when i was looking for some i couldnt find any ,so i got mine of ebay for 3.15 bargin i would say
