OR drill it. or grind hinge and drill from drivers side.
Last choice is cutthrough A-Panel, and grind it off, but this is quite destructive!

really quick easy fix, get a 4" grinder and with a steady hand cut a slit in the hinge/stud on the other side of a pannel then when you have cut the depth of the hinge use a hammer and cold chissel to break any of the stud remaining.
obviously this destroys the hinge but no pannel dammage results.
hope that makes sense.

Bingo!! Well sorta!! Got a 5/6 socket heated up and jammed on (after a few tries wiv a 10mm it wouldn't work) Slight snag is that the stud snapped as the nut was so rusted to it but better than kick in the teeth!! lol!!!
Is it easy replacing the studs on a hinge??

For some reason when we tried to weld a new stud in it just wouldn't take, the weld kept breaking , swapped the hinge in the end.
And I've done plenty of welding on a mini .

Cut the stud off, then centre punch and drill. Helps if you have a pillar drill so you can slow the speed right down. I did mine with a hand drill and it took ages, mostly because i think i tempered the metal from grinding the studs off. Then just cut the hex off a suitable bolt and weld it in - make sure its straight tho!! Mine welded fine from what i can remember.
Hope this helps
