I got a parking ticket sent 2 me today and apparently my wheels we're on the pavement. This can't be seen at all in the pictures they've taken as im in between a BMW mini and a corsa but cause my cars a little more in the middle than theres im on the pavement and apparently the make of my car is a BMW. so furious rite now i just needed to tell sum 1 lol. I have challenged this though.

yea i've appealed but i won't get it looked at until tomorrow apparently. I've been told they can't actually charge me now cause they input the information wrong on the parking charge notice, i've writen along paragraph to them about how the pictures ain't clear and that theres no way u can tell my cars on the pavement and also about the model misprint on the notice. I will let you all know how it go's as soon as I get a reply cause i was planning to get my wheels this month and i cant because this ticket sets me back 100 quid.

Classic case of someone mistaking a proper Mini for one of the big fat BMW Mini's. He saw them both, assumed yours was on the curb because it was so far in and wrote you up. Looks like he's made a mess of that though.

P.S: I love both the old Mini and the new Mini, there's no hate in this post .

That's outragous, AND they didn't get a photo from the pavement side of the car to prove it?

Thanks all lol. I parked in meadway which is in the london borough of enfield. I think its halfed if I pay it within 14 days but i can't because i don't get paid in time.

Well at the end of the day even if they hadn't messed up the details, he shouldn't have to pay because he wasn't on the curb, according to what he said.

I think this is one good thing to come from BMW making the MINI! A lot of parking wardens are now not realising the Mini was made by Rover/Austin/Morris, so they just input it in as MINI, which is of course the BMW model, hence, Mini owners are now getting off parking tickets!

lol they haven't got back to me yet, but I do feel i should win this 1, and im 100% sure I wasnt on the curb, and it dosen't say what the model is the model is blank and it just says make BMW. They will probly get back to me Monday and I hope they do cause if I win I can buy my wheels
