... im 100% sure I wasnt on the curb, and it dosen't say what the model is the model is blank and it just says make BMW
You tend to "notice" curbs in Mini's and avoid them at all costs, so I'm inclined to believe you! Let us know the outcome.

Doesn't add up, I assume this is from a security camera, how do they know your registration if you were parked between cars obscuring their view of the curb? Some saddo camera operative must have sat waiting for you to drive off. What a way to make a living!
Arnt parking wardens being made to take pictures as evidence now?
Maybe thats where the pictures from. Obviously taken from the wrong side of the car if he wasnt parked on the curb.

Only in certain areas.
In my area (and I assume this counts for all areas which don't have camera equipped wardens) the fine has to be stuck on your vehicle for it to be "served" i.e. valid.
In the case of ProjectMusho the wardens are obviously equipped with cameras, meaning as long as they have photographic evidence of the "crime" (term used loosely) they can "serve" the PCN to you by post with the evidence they have. Problem here though is that the "evidence" is useless as it doesn't actually prove the driver was committing an offence.
Also, as they've stated it's a BMW Mini, the parking fine is invalid just on that basis itself!
As a note of interest - nothing to do with this specific case - the colour of the vehicle (which should be stated on the PCN) is irrelevant, I once got one in my blatently yellow Mini, and the colour was stated as "orange" but this is down to personal judgement therefore has no bearing on the validity of the fine.
For anyone who gets a fine, the first thing to do is check all the details are correct - the street name, registration number, make model, time and date. I've had two fines on two seperate occasions on two different streets in the last few weeks, and the street name was completely wrong on both of them... I didn't appeal because the company pays the fines and deals with stuff like that anyway ('twas in the company vehicle) but if it were my own car I'd certainly be challenging it.
I think it is really sneaky that they get you on camera and you don't find out till weeks or days later though... I mean you could be oblivious to the parking regulations that are in place (due to poor local council signage/markings!) and be parking in the same "illegal" spot each day for weeks without realising you're doing anything wrong, until you get a big fat wad of parking fines on your doormat.
Just shows that the parking fines being dished out left right and centre are blatently NOT served to make us all "better parkers" or even make you move your vehicle from the offending spot but merely to extract money from otherwise law abiding people!

Scan itNo the pictures are from a camera high up, and they can just catch my registration plate in the picture but they cant see the corsas plate or the BMW minis plate. To me the picture shows 3 cars parked on the street doing no harm what so eva. lol

I think the law did change recently to allow them to enforce parking from cameras without bothering to stick a notice on your car.
Is this somewhere you can easily revisit? I'd be inclined to go take a piccy, from the same angle, of your car parked the same with no car behind so you can see it's not on the curb. Then just ignore them up to the point where they take you to court then present your piccy as evidence.
This tinpot dictator attitude really gets my goat, why should you have your time wasted with such nonsense? If you opted to take it to court, I'd ask for costs.

Your pic in this instance would be inadmissible as it's "after the fact", but this would never go to court anyway. Don't go out of your way on this, just do whatever you need to do to appeal the ticket and it'll go away

I would agree being deliberately pig headed just to get your day in court isn't the easiest way to sort it. Only cantankerous old gits like would go to that much trouble, the problem is there's no sanction against them for taking these liberties so they'll continue to get ever more ridiculous in how they treat the general public.
