There's a British standard for No. Plates, I was under the impression the plates had to have the correct reflective background and display the BS number (prob'ly an E mark these days): clearly no one's had a problem with this. horizontal means the copper shouldn't have to tilt his head >_< to read it I guess - doesn't say it has to be the right way up tho' :lol:

has to be front facing right...what about these cars which have them offset to the side, except the curvature of the bumper makes it point fairly to the side, people being hit from the opposite side of the bumper might not be able to see these...strange how its allowed really
