i had my front subframe modified to accept them on the lowest setting, rear shock apertures needed beating inboard to ensure no contact, i fitted a rear beam axle at the same time and 7X13's with 195/45 on the front and 8X13's with 205/50 on the back. The car then had a full geometry and suspension setting up. cost me about 400 quid (on top of the rear beam and coil overs) but i have never been in a mini that handled so well.
What did you have done to the front subframe gav?

Do you guys remove the top bumper bushing (the cone shaped rubber with a stud sticking out) when you installed coilovers? Im getting a weird sound when hitting humps a little too hard.
Holy thread revival. You've obviously not looked at the date of this thread, the last post was made June 2008, the OP no longer posts.

Both are not a good idea.Do you guys remove the top bumper bushing (the cone shaped rubber with a stud sticking out) when you installed coilovers? Im getting a weird sound when hitting humps a little too hard.
The coil over if it is actually one should have a built in bump stop to limit the suspension to the original max movement. The bump stop on the subframe dies the same thing.
You don't want to be breaking ball joints now do you as the spring design is totally unsuitable.
