What Welder To Use For Body Work Repairs?

as it says at the top what is the best thing to use for the welding patches on. cheers luke

Really it depends on how much you've got to spend.

Clarke welders are good for hobby use, look for a mig welder with a min current of 30amp,some clarkes will go down to 25amps.

Don't be tempted by the ultra cheapo silverline/wolf things they usually have a mini current of 40 amp, you will just be blowing holes.

Allow for a decent auto mask and depending on how much you've got to do a big bottle of gas, not the the disposables.
