Hey, just another quick question asking - how people have mounted their stereo's when they have it in the middle of the dashboard that they have put in?....

I have ideas, but to find out a way that gaurenteed to work and doesnt vibrate would be great! ;)

Many thanks, TML

I bodged my own dash out a bit of acrylic and just cut a hole in it that the Head Unit pushes into. It doesn't rattle at all, just make sure that the metal sleeve bracket thing bit is locked in by bending the little claws tight to the dash.
Should be fine...

I have a hole that is blanked off I was just worried that with nothing supporting the back of the headunit it will sit at a strange angle

Some headunits are made with a threaded hole in the back for you to put a bolt through the bulkhead but i don't think it's necessary!

If it sits at a strange angle just put a piece of padding behind it. Problem sorted! ;)

Your best bet would be to fit the head unit, then attach it to the bulk head somehow from the back. Go through the glove box.

This way the theiving little chavs will have dificulty getting it out...
