Pigeon Poop On Paintwork - Any Ideas
#1

I have a '98 cooper in metallic paintwork which gets parked outside 99% of the time.
Pigeons in the trees above my car means chaos for cleaning.
Anyone have any good methods for getting pigeon "dung" off your paintwork? Its extremely stubborn sticks on like nothing I've experienced.
Also - I've noticed that it burns the clear on the paint, doesn't seem to come out with cutting compound I've used, any other ideas?
Thanks

best thing to do is to get a good few layers of wax and polish on the car to protect the paint.

Or chainsaw the tree down

I dont go near it, I get pressure washer out.

Also I'm sure autoglym do some bird dropping wipes as well.

Then polish & protect the like suggested before they take aim again.

if you get a model of a hawk and put in the tree or nearby they won't roost there
Lol! I tried that but the little blighters got wise to it, next news they're sitting on its head

its been said really, not much you can do except wash it off when it happens and keep it polished and waxed to try to protect the paintwork

i sponged it off with water and now i've got about four areas of light scratches!!!!! must have been the 'lumps'(!!!) in the poo.
