I know this is not really the right place, but I've just put a set of 4.5 x 10 steels on ebay if anyone is after a set in excellent condition as well as some of the steel hubcaps...

(I'm sure I won't be the last to say it - excellent website!)

Hey all, started digging my mini out of the hibernation at my moms house, to load it on a little trailer to drive it up to my fathers to work on it... And I pulled my alloy wheels out with a plan to clean them up... and decided to try to find information on them. they are 4.5x10 with 3.5 from the edge of the rim to the mounting point. The only marking on them are E-T shown in the photo. They seem well made. Only information I have is the previous owner of my rust bucket said he had them shipped from the UK in the 70's or 80's.. I plan to clean them up and use them when I put the car together in good shape.

I did send 3 views of the rim to the directory too.. all pictured on the front of my ratty early 60 morris :)

There was a manufacturer named E-T from the 60's on, in the US (CA). Looks like they made a few 'mesh' wheels as well. I think chances are high they made this one too :P More in the E-Mail you should have received by now :P

If you ever want to sell them - drop me a line ;)

Cheers,
Jan

I can confirm: it's a E-T 'cross wire' wheel, they made it from thew 60's to the 70's. :P

Anyone know the difference between SuperTrax wheels and Super Mini wheels? (The black six spoke wheels, 13" towards the bottom....)

Excellent! Three even still have the remains of 60s to the 70's dunlops on them! :)

Plan to put them on the car if I ever get it in decent shape with paint... I kind of wish dunlop still made tires for this

Search any digital market place, search any other parts jumble, ask around - and bring lots of years of patience with you :D

P.e. it took me over 5 years to find my set of Momo wheels :P

Very nice Directory, I must say :) Given me some nice ideas of what rims to get mine on, in the new year.

In the mean time, I'm stuck on these. They're 12x5 I think (measurements looks about right, but I've not taken the tyres off yet to check properly.

Anyone know these rims might be called?
could always add them to the directory :)
(unless they're actually in there and I've missed them :( )

A bit of thread necromancy here, but does anyone know what happened to this website?  It was most useful for checking out wheel sizes and offsets.
