Didn't really know where to post this but does anyone know if you can convert a regular mini shell into one that looks like the minus shell?

All you need to do is deseam it isn't it??

Someone help because I'm a bit confused..

a minus shell as parts cut out of the window posts aka the roof is lower. by about 6" i think. it can be done and u can buy steel shells like this too.

no a minus has the metal cut from the body and not the roof

yes.... as i said. cut from the window posts.

It has about 4 inches out of the body below the windows so normal glass fits

did you do the deseaming your self if so how and have you got any pics of the process

OK OK there seems to be alot of confusion here!!

1. Minus's don't have any seems at any point!.

2. Sprints have height removed from the body and from the window posts to make them even lower thus requireing special windows!

3. Minus have height removed from the window line down only, so can use standard windows.

4. Yes if you can find a Minus shell then just transfer everything from a normal mini to the minus shell!! There are some bits that won't fit (mini servo etc etc) but on the whole it should be ok.
